Supporting Student-Athletes
The Dr. Alfonza L. Carter Student Athlete Scholarship was established to support student athletes at Shaw University to continue the legacy of athletic, academic, and community excellence of then athletic director, Dr. Alfonza L. Carter. This picture was taken at the 2018-2019 Shaw University Athletics Banquet with our inaugural scholarship recipient who played football at Shaw University.
