The Impact
The Alexander-Carter Family Foundation is committed to using our resources to provide students access to life enhancing opportunities and higher education. We provide funding to students, schools, and organizations that make a significant difference in the lives of youth.
How It Began
The Foundation was the conception of David Alexander after his wife, Alesha, pitched the idea to award an annual student-athlete scholarship in honor of her father, Dr. Alfonza L. Carter, a former All-American basketball player, hall of famer and university administrator. Since then, the scholarship has bloomed into a legitimate non-profit that accomplishes a variety of educational and philanthropic goals.
